Here it is... the official waterproof cast is finally on! After two and a half weeks of a plaster splint, today Gideon was finally able to select a color for his new cast. And let's just say, he didn't select it so it would blend in with his daily attire. Back to some details, for those of you who really appreciate those, Dr. Endres is very pleased with the healing of both the radius and ulna. He thinks Gideon shouldn't need to have this fiberglass cast on for more than three weeks. So we'll head back downtown in three weeks to have it removed. God has already answered our prayers for speedy healing. So we'll continue to covet all your prayers for continued speedy healing (and for Gideon to take it a little easy even though he now thinks, with the cast, he's indestructable.) "AHHHHH!!!!"
