It's a DONE DEAL!!

Yes, we have FINALLY closed on the Zeeland house. We accepted an offer made on June 20 with a projected closing date of July 2. Well, that came and went and then we had the huge storm and got water in the basement. So after ripping apart half of the entire west facing wall, having two inspectors who couldn't figure out where the water had come from and, in frustration, just hosing down the outside window...we found the leak(along side the window), had it resealed, reinsulated the basement wall, put the panelling all back up and had the carpet installers come in and put in new pad and re-lay the carpet and then we still waited. The buyers FHA paperwork was finally all ready to be signed yesterday. So as of 4:50pm on September 10, we no longer own a home in Zeeland, MI.
I did go back to the house earlier in the day and took a few pics especially of our favorite tree. I also wanted the boys handprints from the basketball hoop base so I took Crayola model magic and squished it into their handprints so I could take those with us.
Thanks for ALL the prayers for the sale of this house. We truly appreciated them all!
With many fond memories, we say goodbye to our Zeeland home one last time!
