It's BLUE (Unfortunately We Couldn't Add MAIZE!)

Tristan is NOT a huge fan of having his picture taken
but I refuse to hear in 20years that
there are "NO PICTURES OF ME!"

On Friday it was Tristan's turn for another Dr's appointment so we were off to see Dr. Endres (the same Dr. who took care of Gideon's broken arm in 2009).  Everything looks really good.  He doesn't think anything appears to need surgery, whew!  He confirmed that Tristan did break the first three metatarsels in his right foot (big toe, second toe and middle toe) but they are lined up quite nicely.  However, since Tristan is a boy, he has brothers and he is just a rough and tumble type of kid, Dr. Endres said it would need a cast for 4 weeks yet.  Thankfully, we could get a water resistant one which is an enormous blessing when it comes to baths and such.  'T' had a whole passel of colors to choose from but he went with his favorite 'Blue'.  His only disappointment was that he couldn't add 'Maize'.  :) GO MICHIGAN!

In about a week and a half he may begin to put weight on it using a small boot they gave us but until that time it's crutches only.  He has become quite a speed demon with those things which only has Mom's heart racing as I picture what could happen.  Oh well.  At least I know where the new Helen DeVos Children's Hospital ER entrance is now!  :)
