Our Last trip to Michigan's Adventure with GHCS!!

What an absolute blast of a day!! We had one last opportunity to head off to Michigan's Adventure with the 6th and 7th graders from Grand Haven Christian before Kevin becomes the principal at Moline Christian. While the first time we attempted to head to the park on Friday, May 31st turned out to be a thunderstorm day our reschedule of that following Monday was PERFECT!! 80+ degrees and sunny!! The real treat was to be able to go with my parents as well! Some of you may remember that the last time my Mom went with us to Michigan's Adventure I was very pregnant (and in labor with Noah). My sister and her husband were with us that day as well. I still say that was the best way to spend my first labor experience. It definitely past the time nicely. We timed my contractions as I stood in line with everyone waiting for each ride. Put your minds at ease, I only rode the carousel that day and we were at Holland hospital by 4:30pm that afternoon and Noah wasn't born until 12:50am.

This time, however, I did ride A LOT more rides WITH everyone else! Our favorite rides, by far, were the Funnel of Fear and the ThunderHawk. I'm quite certain Kevin and I rode both of those FOUR times!! YeeeeHaaahhhh!!
