One First Trip to the New ZEELAND E.R.

It took a couple of years but Kev and I have finally come to grips with the fact that we have four BOYS and that means we are good friends with the Urgent Care and E.R. docs! :) To start this summer off, it was Tristan's turn for a round of stitches. He and Gideon were playing "Sit and Spin" with the office chair in the basement when Tristan went sailing off and wacked his head on the desk. He bled like nothing I've ever seen before (excluding my brother being run into by a riding lawnmower deck).

'T' (as we affectionately call him) was COVERED in blood. As soon as Kev and I got the bleeding stopped, I realized that this was going to take a visit to the E.R. since it looked very similar to Noah's last year baseball head injury. So after changing all our clothes and tossing them in the washing machine to soak, we were off. This time we decided to give Zeeland Hospital an opportunity to meet one of our young men. Four stitches later, we were back home and Tristan quickly fell asleep after such a trying ordeal.

We pray that this is it for us when it comes to E.R. visits! :) Love, US
