Our Latest "Project"

Well, we finally assembled the last birthday gift of Noah and Gideon's first birthday gift. Thank goodness they are the same thing. The project took a little more time than we anticipated! Surprise, surprise. Don't they always?! First, the hole had to be dug much deeper and wider than we first thought. Then the concrete had to cure for 4 hours and we were supposed to save half a bag to fill the pole but Kev didn't read the directions that far. :) So after returning the extra bags of quickrete back to the store 2 days later to buy another. And after filling the bottome section of pole we read a little further and found out that now it had to cure for 72 hours. Our poor boys!! They were dying! Three days seems like an eternity to them. Hey, here it is Thursday and we finally finished it! It only took 6 days from start to finish but as you can tell the boys have already forgotten the wait.
