This past Saturday, Tehya decided to attempt another stunt without a safety net. From what we can tell, she was either trying to climb up or get out of the back of Kevin's truck. Kevin had caught her the day before attempting to climb up the back of the pick up and he grabbed her down and told her 'No' but true to almost two year old fashion, it takes far more than one time of being told 'No' to learn a lesson. (It appears for the Sall Seven, that pain is their best teacher!)
So regardless of whether or not she was heading up or down, the little monkey fell and her face made solid contact with the concrete driveway. As you can see by the pictures, she did quite a number to her chin - it bled like crazy. And it took a couple of hours for us to realize she also appears to have broken her nose. Just an FYI for all you parents out there, there's nothing you can do for it but get it straightened if it's displaced. To our relief, it appears to be straight and we'll just wait it out as it heals.
Oh, and just because that seems to be the way it "always" goes, it was her birthday the next day and so every picture is documentmentaion of her folly!
