Androidectomy?

A couple of weeks ago, Gideon finally saw a specialist for the "congestion" he has in his nose. (This has been somewhat chronic for about 3-4 years now. We just never really put two and two together.) The specialist told us that his adenoids were taking up 90% of the space leaving only a 10% space for breathing and draining. So no wonder, he always sounded stuffy! So surgery was scheduled and Gideon was all excited! Honestly! Throughout the entire event, he never once was scared or cried. He is an amazing little boy! He even wanted to go sledding the evening after the surgery. We told him that he'd have to hold off on that for just a little longer. :) Obviously, all went well and we praise God for the success! Oh, and before I forget, we also met a wonderful hospital chaplin. She was a petite, older woman from Saugatuck and just so sweet! She prayed over Gideon and came and checked on him after he came out, too. What a blessing she is to Holland Hospital and all whom she encounters. As my Dad said, "He (God) definitely didn't use a Goliath!" (at least not this time.)
