THE cottage
We love this place! It is such a peaceful and joyfilled time. Kevin picked me up in St. Thomas and after meeting all sorts of my new friends and small group we headed off to Orillia, Ontario to hook back up with our boys. It had been one whole week since we had seen them. I hadn't even spoken to any of them during that week for fear that they or rather I would cry! When we arrived in Orillia, we loaded the boat and then went in search of our family. However, somehow we missed each other and ended up walking back to the lake without seeing any of them. But just as we were walking the boardwalk, Kevin suddenly said "I think I see Noah's purple shirt." Sure enough, Noah and I locked eyes and went running into each other's arms! A few minutes later we had a excited reunioun with our other three boys. (Tristan was not so happy with us at first but he warmed up quickly.) Wyatt quickly went right back to nursing and Gideon charmed us with his smile. So much love!! We are so blessed! After such a great reunion we jumped feet first into a fabulous few days at the cottage even with the occasional thuderstorm. It was such a treat!

Thanks so much for the thoughtful note that you dropped off. Yes, we indeed had a wonderful vacation. As you may have heard, we took a 3-wk trip to the east coast for some sightseeing but mainly to reconnect with family-friends in Labrador (where Karen grew up) before they retire and relocate.
